In our commitment to conserve and protect the Amazon, we have established strong alliances with local communities, Indigenous Peoples and governments. Our focus is on providing these groups with the tools and knowledge necessary to implement concrete conservation solutions on their lands. From a comprehensive perspective, we not only advocate for forest protection, but also promote the development of environmentally responsible businesses and support sustainable initiatives.

We seek to inspire young people to become active and passionate advocates for this vital ecosystem. By strengthening local capacities, we empower communities to lead the protection of their territories and to manage their resources effectively and sustainably.

We work closely with governments at different levels, as well as Indigenous organizations, to establish robust forest surveillance and control systems. Our goal is to advance environmental justice that safeguards the rights of those who depend on forests and promotes strong, and transparent forest governance.

1. Productive forests and sustainable livelihoods

We promote initiatives that combine conservation with local well-being through sustainable livelihoods. We strengthen the capacities of Indigenous and local communities in the Andes and the southern Peruvian Amazon, helping them develop value chains for forest products and services. We provide training and technology to connect them with the market, promoting a bioeconomy that contributes to the conservation of protected natural areas and fragile ecosystems.

2. Environmental policies and governance

We strengthen environmental governance by training governments and communities to reduce threats to the Amazon forest and enforce the law. We collaborate with national and regional entities to establish effective environmental governance policies and practices, backed by justice.

3. Projects to combat threats

We collaborate with regional and local governments and communities to combat threats such as illegal logging, illegal gold mining and invasive agriculture. Every step we take strengthens the context for conservation and law enforcement.
