Our work focuses on protecting Indigenous Reserves, covering 4 million hectares of PIACI territory, as well as an additional 3 million hectares proposed for the creation of a new reserve. We also actively support the establishment of the Pano Arawak Bio-Cultural Corridor in the southern Peruvian Amazon, which spans approximately 7 million hectares.

One of our main areas of work is strengthening the capacities of indigenous communities bordering reserves of Indigenous Peoples in isolation, in collaboration with Peru’s Ministry of Culture.

By working together with these communities and authorities, we seek to reinforce conservation efforts and ensure the preservation of these valuable natural and cultural heritage areas.
