Despite the unprecedented challenges and global uncertainty caused by Covid-19, we continued to protect the Amazonian Andes, the most biodiverse landscape on the planet. Through dedication, creativity, and passion, we achieved significant progress in safeguarding areas of outstanding natural value, generating sustainable livelihoods with local and indigenous communities. We also have collaborated with authorities to detect threats and prevent environmental crimes, and advancing technology transfer and scientific research to support informed decision-making. None of these achievements would have been possible without the invaluable support of our allies, donors, bilateral organizations, foundations, and individuals -true agents of change- who placed their trust in us and stood by our work throughout this critical time.
